My name is Mary Owens and I started ACA Bookkeeping because I love bookkeeping. I have 20+ years accounting and bookkeeping experience and have worked for large and small companies in a variety of industries. I enjoy all aspects of bookkeeping, especially for small businesses. My goal is to help small business owners better understand and control their financial status without them having to do the detail work themselves. They should be focusing on the growth and success of their businesses, not on whether the transactions have been posted yet. I want to remove the hassle of inexperienced help and employee turnover; confusion over what is an asset and what is a liability; as well as free up the owner’s time for more profitable efforts.
My experience includes inventory tracking and costing, job costing, fixed asset tracking, as well as all bookkeeping tasks through financial statements. I am a member of the QuickBooks ProAdvisor program and support all QuickBooks versions from 2006 through 2008. I have also completed training for tax preparation for C Corporations, S Corporations, LLCs, and Sole Proprietor.
